AM: This is a little insight into the domestic side of ADULT. It's probably one of the most played records in the house. Recently when we got back from being on tour for five weeks, we put this on and we were home.

NK: It's something that gives you comfort.

AM: I think it's interesting how many people are into both synth music and horror films. I remember I had a subscription to the 80s horror magazine, Fangoria. My walls were decorated with pullouts from it. The music this film is from is famous because the actress was asked to swallow actual pig organs and vomit them up and she agreed. It's one of the most disgusting scenes in the film. It took a lot of work to find this film out then, so I have a real connection to the soundtrack. We listen to a lot of horror soundtracks at home.

Fangoria: Our fourth album in 2008, Why Bother, was our ode to horror movies.
