Liverpool Psych Fest have announced the final wave of artists, installations, projects and general goings on for this year’s two day festival of brain-rinsing music from the further reaches.

As part of the festival’s day programme a project called ‘Musings in Drone’ will feature Anton Newcombe, Rob Chapman, our own John Doran and Sacred Bones in conversations. There will also DJ sets at this year’s festival from Psychemagik, Al Lover, Finders Keepers and Clinic, all of whom are newly announced today. A programme called ‘Hocus Pocus’ will also present an “off the wall celebration of ten years of Finders Keepers Records”.

On the visual side of events, an exclusive new audiovisual and virtual reality installation called ‘PZYK PRYZM’ will see the festival host its own PZYK cinema, The Chrome Sugar Shack. Furthermore, Anton Newcombe of The Brian Jonestown Massacre will be the festival’s very first Artist In Residence taking part in the creation of a new piece of music and artwork for THORIUM-232, performing live alongside Tess Park in support of their collaborative album I Declare Nothing, conversing as part of ‘Musings in Drone’ and DJing as part of the Finder Keepers celebration.
