Purveyors of melancholic smooth sophistication Chromatics are among a slew of new acts announced for this year's Sonar Festival, which takes place in Barcelona between June 13th and 15th. Also just added are Raster-Noton's Atom TM (the mighty R-N bosses Byetone and Alva Noto are already on in their Diamond Version guise), along with naughty Frenchman Sébastien Tellier, Skip & Die, Jackson and his Computer Band, Sara Galán & Edu Comelles: Cello + Laptop, Tiger Menja Zebra, Jansky, Coàgul, Wooky, Sísý Ey, Evol, XTRNGR, Drömnu, ZA!, Tutu, Lost Twin, TGES, Beardyman, Hermutt Lobby, Barcelona Laptop Orchestra.

Red Bull have started to reveal details of what they're planning for their Academy this year (check out Angus Finlayson's words on 2012 here, with interesting collaborations between Felix Kubin & James Pants and JESSE & Jimi Tenor on the cards. Then there's Metro Area, Elektro Guzzi, Oddisee, Branko of Buraka Som Sistema), C. Tangana, Kidsuke, Cassegrain, Palmbomen, DZA (hip hop beats and rhymes from Russia), Satore (Mallorcan deep house straight from the heart) and We Like Turtles (the in demand dj duo from Tarragona).
