Spacemen 3 - Threebie
If you can claw your way up through all the overly-dramatic personal dirty laundry connected to the band you can find the music. And once there, it's very apparent just what a huge contribution these guys made in their day and beyond. This is a "posthumous", mostly live EP collection of tracks from a 1988 concert so it doesn't have the cleanliness or multilayering of the studio recordings. Instead, it's a rawer, more primitive expression of the endless repetition with tiny subtle variation that was their statement. Especially the 12-minute 'Suicide'.
