Yesterday, Pussy Riot released a new video featuring several members speaking out against Vladimir Putin and thanking their supporters. The video sees three balaclava-clad members abseiling down a desolate building and burning an effigy of Putin, while admonishing the system that gave three members a two-year jail sentence last month. Wielding flares, they thank the likes of Madonna, Björk, Red Hot Chili Peppers and Green Day, who have continuously supported the band throughout a case that has caught worldwide attention. Our guess is that this won't go down too well in the Kremlin, but it's great to see Putin being poked with a big burning hot rod of girl power.
