Watch clip from Meltdown gig on Monday

Antony Hegarty's Meltdown Festival is currently in full swing, with the Southbank Centre having already hosted performances from the likes of Laurie Anderson, Diamanda Galas, Liz Fraser, Matmos and Antony & The Ohnos (see our review of the festival next week for full coverage). On Monday, previous Antony collaborators and current disco operators Hercules & Love Affair played, and as expected, invited Antony onstage for a performance of the group's debut single 'Blind' - the first time they've ever performed it onstage together. Normally the quality of crowd-recorded videos isn't necessarily good enough to make them worthwhile drawing attention to, but this one, which appeared online shortly afterwards - watch it above - that suggests it was a pretty special performance. There's still a few more nights to go of the festival - for information and tickets for the rest of Antony's Meltdown, featuring the likes of Marc Almond, Lou Reed, Kembra Pfahler, Karen Black and William Basinski, click here.
