This time tomorrow, the Quietus will be in our linen jackets as we play host to the Village Mentality Stage at the Field Day festival, DJing around the top notch line-up of Mazzy Star, Tortoise, Grimes, R Stevie Moore, Gold Panda, Afrocubism and so on who'll be gracing our stage. We popped down to have a look at the site this morning, and very nice it was too, with buff men lifting giant PA systems into place, and nobody yet wearing rip-off Rayban sunglasses.

We can report that the site is far bigger than previous years, and now that the council have finished doing up Victoria Park there's vastly more room to move around.
