Jamie Teasdale gets a Konx-om-Pax & Sabrina Ratté video for a track from last year's great Severant album

Kuedo's Severant was one of last year's most acclaimed electronic albums, finding the ex-Vex'd man heading out into territories that touched on trap rap, footwork and the towering synths of classic sci-fi soundtracks (err, hello Blade Runner). In the new video for 'Ascension Phase', Konx-om-Pax and Sabrina Ratté have matched the track's crisp digital precision and technicolour futurism with an appropriately multi-hued, technological wonder of a video. Similarly to Kuedo's music, it also recalls the bright, busy, eighties referencing videos of Stateside artists like Oneohtrix Point Never (who's worked with Konx-om-Pax before), James Ferraro and the Not Not Fun label. Watch below.

Kuedo is also set to release a new single through Planet Mu on 18th June, reports FACT. Entitled 'Work, Live & Sleep In Collapsing Space', it's an outtake from Severant, and comes complete with remixes from Claude Speed and Laurel Halo.
