Poland's OFF Festival, whose 2012 edition is running in Katowice from 3rd-5th August, has over the past few years established itself as one of Europe's most varied (and good value) weekenders. Its line-ups tend to be impressive in their range, reaching all the way from more guitar-based concerns to dance and experimental electronica, via a very healthy dose of Polish music.

We're very excited to be officially partnering with the festival and curating a day of the Experimental Stage, which features some of our favourite current musicians from a raft of different disciplines: Alva Noto and Blixa Bargeld performing together as anbb (needless to say, we're very much looking forward to that one); sax powerhouse Colin Stetson; ace Seattle hip-hop collective Shabazz Palaces; Spectrum Spools' noisy techno auteur Container, and ex-Lift To Experience man Josh T. Pearson.

One of the other days on the Experimental Stage will be curated by Fennesz, whose performance on the same stage at OFF 2010 was one of the weekend's highlights.

In addition OFF have just announced a raft of new names, added to a line-up that already includes the likes of Battles, Suicide, Matthew Herbert, Kim Gordon & Ikue Mori, Africa HiTech, Converge, Fennesz, Forest Swords, Iggy & The Stooges, King Creosote * John Hopkins and Kurt Vile. Added to the line-up this week are Thurston Moore, Baroness, Norowska, Kanał Audytywny/Akron Family, Megafaun and Afro Kolektyw. For the full line-up click here.

Tickets are 120 PLN(non-camping)/160 PLN (with camping) for the whole weekend - somewhere between £25-30 - until April 16th, when they increase in price. There's loads more information and tickets available at the OFF website.
