First up on Friday is a conference on Metal and Journalism featuring dishevelled Quietus co-pilot John Doran, esteemed Quietus and New Statesman scribe Frances Morgan, Southern Lord and Metal Hammer Editor Alex Milas and the Don himself Malcolm Dome.

The following day Nic Bullen of Napalm Death talks to Turner Prize nominee Mark Titchner and French artist Damien Deroubaix about grindcore and modern art.
