Hessle Audio has detailed its next release, from Amman DJ and producer Toumba.

Spanning four tracks, Petals marks his debut for the UK label, run by Ben UFO, Pangaea and Pearson Sound. The EP explores Levantine microtonality, rhythms and timbres, and its lead track, 'Istibtan', is a club-focused take on a Jordanian wedding song. You can listen to the song above.

Toumba's release for Hessle Audio comes amid a recent flurry of activity from the label in its 15th year. Over the last couple of months, it has put out EPs from label co-founders Pangaea and Pearson Sound, as well as Shanti Celeste.

Hessle Audio will release Petals on February 3, 2023.
