Le Guess Who? has revealed the first set of acts playing its 2022 event later this year.

This year marks the Utrecht festival's 15th anniversary, and the festival will mark it with performances from the likes of Low, Abdullah Ibrahim, Rats On Rafts, KOKOKO!, Dry Cleaning, Keeley Forsyth and upsammy. The Staples Jr. Singers, whose 1975 album When Do We Get Paid was recently reissued by Luaka Bop, will also perform live for the first time in 40 years, and for the first time ever outside of the Mississippi Delta.

As ever, Le Guess Who? will welcome a number of acts to curate part of the festival's bill in 2022, with Animal Collective, clipping. and CURL taking on that role this year. Among the acts joining Animal Collective are Horse Lords, Les Filles de Illighadad, Mary Ocher, Liv.e and Keiji Haino; clipping.'s curated bill features Divide And Dissolve, Aho Ssan, Dreamcrusher, Nkisi, Jana Rush and Jeff Parker; and CURL have invited Laurel Halo, bar italia, and Moor Mother & Billy Woods.

More names will be added to the bill over the coming months. This year's edition of the festival follows on from last November's event, which marked the in-person return of the festival after taking a year out in 2020 due to the COVID-19 pandemic.
