She'll perform as part of 'Berl-Berl', which is running in the Halle am Berghain space

Arca is set to perform live in the Halle am Berghain concert space of Berghain next month as part of an audiovisual exhibition called Berl-Berl.

While the exhibition has been running since July 10, and will continue until September 26, Arca is scheduled to make a live appearance on as-yet unannounced September date. Berl-Berl is an installation by Jakob Kudsk Steensen that depicts Berlin's ancient origins as a swamp. The exhibition's soundtrack was produced by sound composer Matt McCorkle and spatial sound designer Lugh O'Neil, and Arca has contributed vocals.

The exhibition was commissioned by Berlin-based art foundation Light Art Space, and takes its name from an old Slavic word that translates literally as swamp, and is believed to be the origin of Berlin's name. It's one of a number of exhibitions that have transformed the inside of Berghain while the club and gig space remains shut due to the COVID-19 pandemic.

You can find out more about the exhibition via the video above, and keep tabs on when Arca will be making her appearance at the Light Art Space website.
