The Durutti Column ‎– The Return Of The Durutti Column

I think this was also when I was first in Berlin, so 2009 to 2010. I don't remember how I came across it, possibly through one of those YouTube sessions. I found out about the original cover of this which was kind of cool. It was made out of sandpaper, so that when you put it in with the other records it would wreck the records that were either side of it. It was like a clever punk move. I found it was really clever, especially for like, quite a chilled record.

I haven't listened to it in a while, but it just was very important. Especially at that time, when I was first in Berlin. It was quite difficult. I was flat broke. It was a bit of a shit time to be honest. My album had come out, but there wasn't really any money from it so that's why I moved to Berlin. There were a few albums that were just really nice to listen to at that time and this was one of them.
