Spiritualized are reissuing their first four albums.

Under the eye of sole permanent member Jason Pierce, the reissue series will kick off in April with the group's 1992 debut album, Lazer Guided Melodies, which marked Pierce's development on to a new project following his previous work as part of Spacemen 3. The four further reissues will follow in the coming months. You can watch the video for 'Run', from Lazer Guided Melodies, above.

Speaking about his work on the album, Pierce says: "We recorded the tracks in the studio near my flat which was a place where they predominantly recorded advertising jingles and it's where we made all the Spacemen 3 records. The recordings were taken to Battery Studios in London, to explore a more professional way of making music. Once I approached that way of doing things it opened up a whole world and I was astounded that somebody could take those tracks and turn it into the record it became."

Fat Possum will release Lazer Guided Melodies on April 23, 2021. The Spaceman Reissue Program releases of Pure Phase (1995), Ladies And Gentlemen We Are Floating In Space (1997) and Let It Come Down (2001) will follow at later dates.
