Nkisi is launching a new series of records, called INITIATION.

Following on from the NON Worldwide co-founder's 2019 debut album, 7 Directions, as well as a just-released tape on the Climate Of Fear label featuring a 2019 live performance of hers, INITIATION, Nkisi says, will explore "the hidden phantasmagorical properties of rhythm… a secret drum language only understood by the initiated." You can hear the 11-minute 'The Truth Is Elsewhere', the first taste of the inaugural INITIATION release, above, while the record is available for pre-order via Low Company.

INITIATION will release INT001 on October 30, 2020.
