There will also be an exhibition at Copenhagen's The Black Diamond gallery which will cover Cave's career

Nick Cave has announced a new autobiography, called Stranger Than Kindness.

Full details of the book are yet to be revealed, but it will be published by Canongate on March 23, 2020. An exhibition of the same name will also kick off on the same day at Copenhagen's The Black Diamond gallery, running until October 3.

Described as a "journey into the creative world" of Nick Cave, the exhibition will combine large scale installations and "atmospheric soundscapes," composed and recorded by Cave alongside Warren Ellis, with more than 300 items from Nick Cave's personal collection, as well as the Nick Cave archive at Arts Centre Melbourne, the Royal Danish Library and a number of private lenders.

"It presents more than 50 years of Cave's life, work and inspiration in a spatial, multi-sensory exploration of his many real and imagined universes," says a note on Nick Cave's website. "Pieces including original artwork, handwritten lyrics, literature, photography, videos, set designs, and collected personal artefacts are shown in a shifting, immersive narrative across eight rooms."
