Tomorrow (September 20) sees the release of Timelines, a new compilation honing in on some of the finest work produced by Instra:mental, the production duo of Kid Drama and Boddika.

Comprised of a few previously vinyl-only cuts, a brand new track and a bunch of previously unreleased tracks produced around the turn of the decade, Timelines looks back over the duo's influence on D&B going forward, from the earlier material of their Darkestral releases through to the various tracks that came to define a sound that they called 'Autonomic'.

Premiering above ahead of the release of Timelines is one of those Autonomic-aligned cuts, 'Shine'. It follows in the lineage of classic Instra:mental tracks such as 'Watching You' and 'Sakura' (which both feature on the compilation), moving away from the rowdy drum breaks and dark sound world that had defined their music together early on.

Timelines follows on from Instra:mental's first album, Resolution 653, which came out in 2011, and marks the first release from the duo since 2013.
