Christian Eede , September 18th, 2019 14:25

Past radio sessions by Aphex Twin and Boards Of Canada feature on the 10x12" set

With 2019 marking 30 years of Warp Records, the label's anniversary celebrations continue in November with the release of the WXAXRXP Sessions box set.

Comprising old radio and studio sessions from the likes of Aphex Twin, Boards Of Canada, Seefeel, Flying Lotus and Oneohtrix Point Never, the set will be split across 10 12" records.

Aphex Twin's second Peel Session, originally broadcast in 1995, is featured while Boards Of Canada's very first Peel Session, broadcast on BBC Radio 1 in 1998 is also included. You can hear the latter's 'XYZ', the recording of which had until now been broadcast-only, above.

Elsewhere, there's a Maida Vale session recorded for the BBC from 2010 by Flying Lotus, LFO's 1990 Peel Session, Plaid's second Peel Session from 1999, Oneohtrix Point Never's KCRW set from last year, Seefeel's Peel Session from 1994 and finally, Kelly Moran and Mount Kimbie's live sets for Warp's weekend-long NTS broadcast that took place earlier this summer.

Warp Records will release WXAXRXP Sessions on November 15. You can check the full tracklist and find out more information about the set here. The label will also release the sessions digitally and on vinyl individually on the same date.
