This Heat fans will be able to purchase their back catalogue digitally for the first time this summer

Following news earlier this year thatThis Is Not This Heat will play their final live shows this summer, it's now been revealed that This Heat's back catalogue will be made available digitally for the first time in July.

All of This Heat's albums and EPs will be available for downloading and streaming as part of the plan, which will follow on from the group's final London show as This Is Not This Heat at London's Albany on May 25.

This Is Not This Heat was put together by the group's surviving founding members Charles Hayward and Charles Bullen to play the music of This Heat back in 2016, beginning their run almost 40 years to the day since This Heat's first live show.

"This Is Not This Heat has been a fantastic experience revisiting the music from 40 years ago and playing to audiences across the world," Charles Hayward said back in January when news of the group's final shows was announced. "But moving forward has always been deep inside the music and we need to resolve that contradiction. To play our final London gig at the Albany feels right, This Heat played Rock Against Racism gigs at the old building and we look forward to returning to South London and a vibrant community of resistance and creativity."
