I could have easily chosen Circuses And Bread also and had two Vini albums in this collection. He has been a constant in my musical life. From the beginnings of Factory his music has always been around me, evolving, keeping me engaged, always gently and in the background. I included 'Sketch For Dawn' as part of the music played before the concerts for our last album. Hearing him from the side of the stage every night as we waited to go on, I felt incredibly close to him and the journey of this long relationship. As my friend Richard Dumas drunkedly shouted as he was being ejected by the bouncers at 'La Cigale' after one of our shows : 'I would prefer to explore one relationship fully than have 10,000 new friends on Facebook!'
