Salford festival presents two days of experimental rock and electronic music

In what will be the festival’s first year running, Foundations Festival is to be held from November 25-26 at the King’s Arms pub in Salford.

Foundations has arisen from a collaboration between two Manchester record labels, AnalogueTrash and Valentine Records, both of which specialise in experimental rock and electronic music. Over the course of the two-day period, the festival will play host to music, multimedia film, art and other related performance pieces.

Presently, the line-up features Syd.31, Factory Acts, Susi O’Neill, Babyslave, Vieon, Mark Corrin and DJ sets from Interference (tQ’s John Doran & Lone Taxidermist) and Ten Mouth Electron. Aside from a line-up of punk, industrial and synth-pop, Foundations Festival will be hosting live art installations and a poetry vs. noise collaboration via the project Transient Noise Bursts With Announcements. Foundations on Screen, a series of shorts and promos by Andy Green, will also be played during the event.

Tickets are available on the Foundations Festival website at £15 for the whole weekend. Day tickets will be made available closer to the time of the event.
