Poisoned Idea - ‘Discontent’

In terms of sheer frustration and rage at the stupidity and ignorance of fascist beliefs, ‘Discontent’ by Portland hardcore punk legends Poison Idea from 1990 is a ferocious punch to the guts. “So much discontent in this hate filled place, how could you want a master race? We all got to learn to help one another. You are my sister, you are my brother. Listen, Nazi, never again.” In three and a half minutes, frontman Jerry A succinctly says everything that needs to be said on the subject. “Open up your mind and think, the shit you spew really stinks.”
