Rocket Recordings trio share live clip; watch below

Ahead of the release of their split EP with Josefin Öhrn + The Liberation, Russian psych-rock outfit Gnoomes have filmed a live performance of the track 'Myriads of Bees' and you can check it out above right now.

Slightly different to the version that will appear on the EP (itself a reworking of 'Myriads', from the band's debut album, Ngan!), the performance took place in Volta 3, a record shop in their home city, Perm.

Says the band: "A friend of ours who works there proposed us to play a gig at Volta to celebrate Record Store Day. We were really amused by the atmosphere and decided that it’d be great to use this spot as a place to shoot our new live video. Speaking of production, we couldn’t do it without our friends Dima Rategov (you can see his logo in the beginning of the video) and Alice Calypso who are our constant video operators." Unlike the studio version, the lyrics are sung in German, rather than English, apparently in homage to seminal Krautrock supergroup, Harmonia.

The limited edition split EP, entitled Repetitions, will be released on May 20 via Rocket Recordings. You can pre-order it here. We previously shared the Gnoomes remix of Josefin Öhrn + The Liberation's 'Take Me Beyond' which is taken from the same release. You can check that out here.
