Berlin electronic trio To Rococo Rot recently announced that they'd be releasing their eighth album, Instrument, their first since 2010's Speculation, on July 21. It'll be out on City Slang, through whom they've previously put out three albums, and will be marked by a show at London's Cafe Oto on the day of release. Last week, they gave us the first taster of the record with 'Pro Model' (have a listen courtesy of FACT), and now we're excited to be host a first play of album opener 'Many Descriptions', one of not one but three tracks to feature vocals (a first for TRR), from no less than Arto Lindsay, experimental composer and member of DNA, The Golden Palominos and The Lounge Lizards among others - have a listen below:

Says band member Robert Lippok of putting the track at the beginning of the album: "We wanted to make clear that something is different. I think maybe we've come in a way back to where we started. We've been through a lot of experimenting, buying new gear, trying this and that with electronic and non-electronic stuff."

Head to City Slang to get hold of the record on release.
