Four studio LPs and live album re-released in vinyl boxset ahead of tour

Listen up fans of music from the rainy American North West - to coincide with Soundgarden's upcoming European tour, the band are reissuing their seminal albums and a live LP in a vinyl box set. Soundgarden - Classic Album Selection will contain Louder Than Love (1989), Badmotorfinger (1991), Superunknown (1994) and Down on the Upside (1996) plus Live on I-5, an album of recordings from their 1996 West Coast tour released last year. All of them will be on mini-LPs with gatefold sleeves featuring new artwork by their long-time collaborator Josh Graham - have a gander above.

The band have been in the studio producing some new material, too. They’ve recorded a track for the new Avengers Assemble movie, 'Live to Rise', which appears on the film's soundtrack, released yesterday. There's also an album - as yet unnamed - in the works, which is set for a release in autumn.
