London's Independent Label Market is back for a third time, returning to Old Spitalfields Market, the sample place as last Christmas’s fair. On Saturday 19th May, the good and great of UK and US independent labels will be setting up stalls, manned by their top dogs and selling more of their new, catalogue and rare releases than you could shake a stick at.

The labels who will be offering up their wares include Angular, Bella Union, Chess Club, Domino, Fabric, Fat Cat, Heavenly, Moshi Moshi, One Little Indian, R&S and Tri Angle and new traders selling for the first time at the Market will be Because, Phantasy Sound, Transgressive and Warp. We’re also promised some exclusive releases for the day as well as artists from the labels’ rosters making an appearance. The ILM will be a celebration of all releases physical, so head over and get your fill of vinyl, CD and cassette. As Simon Raymonde, founder of Bella Union said of the last event: “The sight of Laurence Bell in his ‘Domino’ boiler suit, there at 8:30 am, also hammering bits of metal together to create the stall, was reassuring, and the day just got better and better. Love was all around. Special moments were in abundance. People love to buy music when they can see it and touch it like that.”
