Late last year we at the Quietus were saddened to hear that some peculiar antics had deprived Max Tundra of his Rotogravure radio show, a wholesome, baffling and brilliant tour of the music of the world, with Mr Tundra as your guide. Given that his set on our Village Mentality stage at Field Day 2009 was one of the highlights of our Festival (if you need waking up of an afternoon after too many sleepy sunshine ales, Tundra’s unique brand of anxious discord makes for a fine pick-me-up), we wasted no time in asking Max if he’d do a Rotogravure special for our Mixcloud series. And now, here it is.
