Weezer: Will Go On Forever
The Quietus , November 2nd, 2010 08:02

Oh! Cock & balls.

Despite the recent generous offer of $10 million dollars to spare the world from their anodyne indie rock whining, Weezer frontman Rivers Cuomo has said that he's not going anywhere any time soon.

Speaking to website Nola.com, Cuomo said he'd be almost pensionable before he'd consider quitting. "There's a cut-off point, maybe 60. Assuming the audience still wants us to do this, I can see myself doing this for another 20 years or so. Then somebody's got to pull me off the stage." Form an orderly queue, there.

But then Cuomo added a final sentence that will make the blood of man, woman and child run cold: "Now it's easy for me to say, 'I should retire by the time I'm 60'. But when I'm 59, I'll be thinking, 'No! I don't want this to end!'"
