Next in the series Alan Vega calls a "soap opera"

Whatever is happening to Klaxons' next album (we keep hearing tell of brilliant, weird recordings that the cloth-eared major they're on insist on sending back), the boys have found time to record a track for the next in the series of Suicide covers 10" record on Blast First Petite.

Klaxons follow in the footsteps of Nik Void, Sunn O))), Primal Scream, Bruce Springsteen and The Horrors with a crooning, twinkling version of 'Sweetheart'. Also on the new release are Alan Vega's solo track 'Speedway' and the brilliant mammary exposing solo artiste No Bra, doing 'Super Subway Comedian.

Says Alan Vega of the covers series, "I'm knocked out by these new versions, they just keep on coming and coming and their like whole new worlds to me.... so completely different.... and some of these new upcoming bands man, they've really got into it. It's really great. It's like a soap opera you know, what's gonna happen in the next episode!"
