Make space for ace London disco in your diary

Staggeringly brilliant post-punk disco Black Plastic will be relaunching at Barden's Boudouir from July 17.

The disco's rather tasty menu of dark electro post-punk joy, which originally began in 2007, will be chosen by residents Suicide Ally (ex-promoter and DJ at Stay Beautiful and Rude Girls), and Jo Cliché (ex-DJ at Love Your Enemies and Feeling Gloomy) will be joined by guests Chris Damage (ex- of industrial club nights Strength Through Joy and Slaughterhaus 5) and Dellamorte (promoter and DJ at Rock Steady, and of the Rock Steady iBreaks online radio show).

BLACK.PLASTIC – THE RELAUNCH will take place at Barden’s Boudoir, 36 - 44 Stoke Newington Road, London N16 7XJ, from 9pm-4am. Entry price is £3 before 10pm, then £6/5 with a flyer/NUS card.

The Quietus will be there, drink in hand, to make the most of an eclectic but nonetheless cohesive, darkly glamorous and danceable mix of music; we suggest you are too.
