Marlon Brando - The Godfather

A huge comeback which finally ended what came to be known in Hollywood as the 'Brando Blacklist' in which studios refused to work with the notoriously difficult actor, although some say his politics not his temperament was the problem. He followed The Godfather with Last Tango in Paris and Apocalypse Now, then became drunk with power and reclusive. His next comeback would be a posthumous one through recycled footage in Superman Returns.
