First Names For Counterflows 2019

Mohammad Reza Mortazavi, Dakim and more will play Glasgow festival Counterflows in April

The first details of 2019's edition of Glasgow festival Counterflows have been announced, with the likes of Burnt Friedman collaborator Mohammad Reza Mortazavi, producer Dakim and locals Ailie Ormston & Tim Fraser all confirmed to play.

Also announced to appear at next year's event are Brazil's MC Carol, Katz Mulk, Myriam Van Imschoot & Doreen Kutzke and Nicole Mitchell, Tomeka Reid & Alexander Hawkins, performing as a trio.

As ever, Counterflows is committed to showcasing leftfield and experimental music with its 2019 line-up, bringing together musicians from across a number of continents. Next year's event will take place from April 4-7, across a number of Glasgow venues. More names will be announced in the coming months, but for now, you can find more information here.
