Former frontman of The Eighties Matchbox B-Line Disaster, Guy McKnight. has returned after six years out of the game with his new project The DSM IV.

Teaming up with writing partners Jade Ormesher, Pav Cummins and Jimmy Higgs, the band have unveiled the video for their debut single 'Racist Man', which you can watch premiering exclusively with The Quietus below.

Taking inspiration from a blend of The Fall, Suicide, Arthur Lee and acid house, their dynamic and compelling new video stars dancer Mike Turner-Lee alongside the band, and was produced and edited by Red Visuals.

The name DSM IV would appear to be based on The Diagnostic and Statistical Manual of Mental Disorders' fourth edition, the manual used by the American Psychiatric Association to classify mental illnesses.

The band have two live shows on the horizon, one at Liverpool's Smithdown Crawl on October 13, and another at Craufurd Arms in Milton Keynes supporting Pop Will Eat Itself on December 14.

More live shows are to be announced, while their full length album is promised for early 2019.
