Warhaus, the solo project of Balthazar's Maarten Devoldere will soon release 'Beaches', a single accompanied by a remix by Jim Sclavunos, most prominently known as a member of the Bad Seeds since 1994.

You can listen to that remix above right now ahead of the new single's release later this month. On his remix, Sclavunos retains much of the curious crime-caper tones of the original track, with the original having featured heavily recently in UK TV series Snatch. Brand new music from Warhaus will follow soon, while this digital download-only single is available from this week via PIAS.

The remix sees Sclavunos play saxophone, of which he remarks: "The last recording I played sax on was the Warhaus remix. I’ve played sax both live and recorded with Lydia Lunch, and I have also recorded sax with The Vanity Set, Silver Alert and Congo Norvell."
