M. Craft, the project of Martin Craft, formerly a member of Jarvis Cocker’s band, has revealed a new video for 'Blood Moon', the title track from last year’s acclaimed third LP, released last June.

The plaintive new video was filmed at the Joshua Tree in California by Antony Langdon, with the national park’s otherworldly night time landscape the perfect complement to the song’s understated sweep of sombre orchestration.

Of the new video, Craft said: “Blood Moon is the title track from the album I recorded during two years living in Joshua Tree, California. It’s a nocturnal record so we thought it appropriate that the film clip should be deep in the Joshua Tree National Park, deep in the starry night. Antony Langdon filmed and directed with loose, freeform ideas. And it captures the eerie, otherworldly feeling of that beautiful part of the world.”

Craft will play his debut London headline show in intimate surroundings at Camden’s The Forge on February 2, where he will perform Blood Moon in full. You can buy the album here.
