Constellation Records stream compilation of additional material in run-up to release of three debut albums; listen below

The team at Constellation Records are in the midst of a busy week with the planned release of three debut albums on the label from Jason Sharp, Automatisme and Off World. As part of a bundled release of these three albums, the label are also offering a compilation which collects three tracks from each of them that do not appear on the albums - you can stream that compilation in full above.

Jason Sharp's album is entitled A Boat Upon Its Blood and sees the Montréal-based experimental music playing the reed alongside guest contributions from Josh Zubot on violin and Joe Grass on pedal steel guitar, also employing elements of drone, noise and musique concrète.

Automatisme's Momentform Accumulations is the work of Quebec-based producer William Jourdain who has previously released music under the name of Saint-Hyacinthe. On this album, he blends field recordings with synth and drone experimentations, taking influence from producers such as Mika Vainio and Alva Noto.

The final of the three albums to be released via Constellation this week comes from Off World in the form of 1. The work of Toronto's Sandro Perri, he has been releasing music as Polmo Polpo since the early past of the last decade. This album sees him tapping into electroacoustic work having spent some time experimenting with jazz and prog-influenced music under his own name before its release.

The compilation streaming above is a digital bonus album which can be obtained as part of a bundle of the three new albums. You can pre-order it here with the albums available from September 30.
