Acid Arab among first acts announced for festival as it grows into a two-day event

The first names for the 16th edition of Mosaïques Festival have been announced with the festival now set to take place across two days at two different venues.

Rich Mix in East London will be the central location for events with Acid Arab set to unveil a new live show there in support of their debut album, Musique de France, while they will be supported by Palestinian-Jordanian multi-instrumentalist El Jehaz. Also playing at Rich Mix will be Vaudou Game.

In the daytime, the festival will take over nearby Sonos Studio for a series of free lunchtime gigs and panels, with Blick Bassy discussing his novel Le Moabi Cinema, among the activities there. Mosaïques Festival takes place from October 14-15. For more information and to get tickets, click here.
