Band share extended mix of 'Singularity'; listen below

Following on from the release late last year of their first new album in over a decade, New Order have shared an extended mix of their new single, ‘Singularity’, taken from the album - you can check it out above.

The single will also receive a full remix package and the band are running a competition alongside the single’s release. Over the past few months, various artists and other figures who have been impacted by the band have been contributing to the gallery on a website launched by the band for the single. Acts such as Hot Chip, Factory Floor, John Grant, Alison Goldfrapp, Algiers and The Cure’s Robert Smith have all contributed thus far in the form of essays, artwork, cover versions, playlists and more.

The site has now been opened up publicly for further contributions allowing all fans the chance to create something that captures how the band have influenced them. The top five most interesting contributions will be featured permanently on the ‘SINGULARITY’ website. Anyone wishing to enter should email their contribution to neworder@mute.com before the closing date of March 11.
