The Marvelettes ‎– 'Please Mr. Postman'
I loved the Marvelettes on the northern genre, but back then I didn't really know what northern soul was or sounded like. But I used to play a lot of Marvelettes records, like 'Mr Postman' and 'When You're Young And In Love'. I also used 'Here I Am Baby' as a sample for a Young Disciples track later on, too. I loved the band with a passion and the song as well. Such, such a big tune. But I didn't buy it when it was brand new, I bought the song much, much later on.
