Barcelona-based DJ heads up the line-up at Cosey Club's Halloween bash this Saturday; listen to a preview mix below

After a hiatus of 18 months Richard D. Clouston’s Cosey Club returns this Saturday for a special Halloween party headlined by highly acclaimed, Barcelona-based and Mexico City-hailing DJ Lokier, and ahead of the party itself she has recorded a mix taking in an assortment of EBM and electro-indebted sounds including an edit of Joy Division’s ‘Wilderness’ - you can check out the mix above.

On Lokier, Clouston said: “This summer I was out in Brooklyn and saw Lokier playing at the Have A Killer Time party at Cameo Gallery. I was entranced by her DJing; it’s really sexy, fun and atmospheric, she’s got an inimitable style and a great ear for a track. It’s the perfect sound for Cosey Club and I knew I had to invite her to play. I’m delighted that she can make Halloween, always a special date for our crowd.”

Cosey Club is donating £2 from every ticket sold in advance and on the door to UNICEF to help refugee children from Syria. Fancy dress on the night is encouraged and as ever with Cosey Club, there is a password on the door: ‘Lick the Witch’. Advance purchase is recommended - they are available here. It all takes place at The Waiting Room in Stoke Newington.
