Line-up for the London festival's third year will take in appearances from Stephen O'Malley, Richard Wilson, Visionist and many more

Following last year’s sell-out LCMF (London Contemporary Music Festival), the festival returns in December for its third year with an extensive line-up in the surrouding of the Ambika P3 Gallery.

Among the large list of names performing and taking part this year are Morton Subotnick, Pauline Oliveros, Chris Watson, Stephen O’Malley, Richard Wilson, James Ferraro, Islam Chipsy, Visionist, Shelley Parker and Felicita. Visionist’s performance will see the premiere of a brand new audiovisual project from the producer whose debut album was recently released by PAN, while West Coast composers Morton Subotnick and Pauline Oliveros (who founded the the San Francisco Tape Music Centre) will present the premiere of new shows. Ferraro’s set will be his first UK appearance in the wake of the release of his forthcoming album Skid Row, while Islam Chipsy plays alongside his band E.E.K for the first UK appearance following their debut album’s release. Stephen O’Malley will take to the stage for a solo appearance with scarce information of what that set will entail available currently.

It all takes place in the surroundings of the Ambika P3 which can be found among the buildings of the University of Westminster. LCMF 2015 runs from December 11-17 and you can find out more information including the full line-up and ticket details here.
