Festival announces daytime schedule just over a week before it kicks off

Unsound has announce details of this year’s daytime programme with the festival set to kick off next week.

Among the latest announcement are a series of panels, workshops and talks featuring a number of artists on the Unsound line-up. Fresh from the release of his debut album through the Dial label, DJ Richard will play a special experimental/ambient DJ set as festivalgoers enter the Revelations event which will take place at the Wieliczka salt mine. Artist talks will feature Charles Cohen and Rabih Beaini on improvisation; Pawel Kulczynski; Laraaji; Elysia Crampton discussing landscape, place and history; an RA Exchange with UNiiQU3; Zenker Brothers; and Jacek Sienkiewicz.

Furthermore, author Owen Hatherley will give a talk on his new book, Landscapes Of Communism; Mat Dryhurst on his Saga project; and Adam Harper “will ask whether digital accelerationism is good for the underground”. There will also be panel discussions taking place under the headers of Decolonised Dancefloors (looking at race and identity in underground music) and Club Culture(s) (asking how dance music and club culture can reclaim its radical roots).
