Chrononautz and friends host another edition of their SECT parties in Leeds with a weighty bill all in the name of raising cash for Shelter

With Noments just released through the Quietus Phonographic Corporation, Chrononautz have announced another edition of their ongoing SECT parties held in Leeds.

This will be the fifth in the series of nights that the pair run with friends Skunkrock and Ford Foster and this time they will be joined by He/aT, a pseudonym of producer Bodyjack who has recently released stonking 12”s with labels like Hypercolour and Unknown To The Unknown. The Subdermic, a producer and DJ based in Cambridge, will bring her brand of acidic techno for a set full of her own productions. Opal Tapes founder Stephen Bishop will play under his Basic House moniker while Plex co-founder James Tec joins the SECT team too - Chrononautz are set to play the Plex/BleeD/Them party at Corsica Studios in November also. Dronelock will play a set of live analogue techno while local musician Joanne will showcase a movement that has come to be referred to as ‘live coding’ - you’ll have to go along to find out more about that.

All the artists have kindly agreed to play to raise money for Shelter, so all funds raised on the door will go to a good place. This all happens at the Wharf Chambers in Leeds on September 11, a venue that importantly operates a Safer Spaces Policy. You can secure a place on the guestlist by heading here where you can also find more details about the night. A minimum donation of £4 is requested making it a bargain to catch all of that talent above.
