tQ to take over Corsica's second room as part of Broken20 and Infrasonics showcase on July 31

At the end of the month, Broken20 and Infrasonics will come together alongside the Quietus at London’s Corsica Studios for what is shaping up to be a special night indeed.

In Room 1, the night will see new B20 signee Tengui presenting his debut album, Transference, accompanied by custom visuals from Broken Mannequin. Spatial, meanwhile, will be testing Corsica’s system launching his EP Infra12006 with a live set, celebrating the reemergence of his Infrasonics label three years after its last release. Broken20 label head TVO will also play a live audiovisual set, made up of “stretched voices merging with hypnotic cyclical beats…against a film, shot in an abandoned asylum.” Something you’d better prepare yourself for in advance it would seem. Completing the Room 1 line-up will be Equinox, Livity Sound’s Asusu, Datasette, CB and newcomer Spaces.

That’s not it though. In Room 2, we will be looking after proceedings with Demdike Stare’s Miles Whittaker heading up the line-up in that room, playing a solo set. Fresh off the heels of a new double pack release on Berceuse Heroique, Beneath will also play a b2b set with a guest to be announced in the coming weeks. Rounding off Room 2’s line-up, there will be sets from tQ’s very own Rory Gibb and Sophie Coletta, who will both undoubtedly be packing all manner of heavyweight musical wares. There will also be B20 and Infrasonics records on sale on the night which you could perhaps purchase with the money saved on the free entry to the night. It all goes down at Corsica Studios on July 31 and to get you hyped for the party, you can take a listen to a new mix from Room 1 headliner, Tengui, above. Check the flyer below too and find out more details here. You can also check clips below from Spatial's forthcoming EP.
