William Dickson , June 9th, 2015 16:06

Gagarin, solo project of Pere Ubu’s Graham Dowdall, shares a new track from forthcoming album, due next month

The brand new LP from Gagarin, titled Aoticp, is due for release from Geo Records on July 13, and tQ is very happy to offer the premiere of a new track, 'Epidiolex', from the album. Listen to the track above.

The London based producer is perhaps best known for his work with the long standing art rock outfit Pere Ubu, but it is under his solo moniker, Gagarin, that Graham Dowdall makes genre bending explorations into fractured techno and ambient soundscapes such as 'Epidiolex'. This new track follows on from the recently-released 'Wandle' and both of which feature on Aoticp which is said to be made up of "abstract grooves, unstable synth melodies, floaty ambience, field recordings, grimey beats, glitch and noise."
