Stars Of The Lid - The Tired Sounds Of Stars Of The Lid
I find that album has such a strong start. The first couple of tracks really epitomise that record and draw you deep in; after them you’re pretty much in a state where you can listen to the whole thing. I find it very meditative.

The Stars Of The Lid record was one I’d listen to every night on tour when I was falling asleep, something I’d kind of religiously do for a very long time. It’s not something I’ve done in a while, I haven’t done a much longer tour recently, but that was my go-to album to go to sleep to for a very long time. It’s a total palette cleanser.

For a very long period of time I found it very hard to sleep anyway. Obviously modern life means there’s 110 things to think about every minute; good music should put you in a place where you can escape and this album really blocks out everything else. When I listen to this it feels like nothing else really matters.
