Manhunter OST
There are some Carpenter-esque moments on there too but some of my personal favourite moments would be the Shriekback tracks on there, particularly ‘This Big Hush’. There’s obviously a very 80s feel to it, but I think it’s done in the right way, it’s gloomy. I’m a child of the 80s but that’s my preferred style; it’s more Depeche Mode than the naff stuff.

There are more instrumental, synthy moments on there which obviously I’m a big fan of - it has a great narrative too, very different ideas but such a solid whole.

The Iron Butterfly song on there is a bit of curveball though. I have no issues with it, it works in the film though, in the same way as the Q Lazzarus does on the The Silence Of The Lambs, though that’s another song I really, really love.
