Sónar have just bolstered this year's line-up with 38 new additions, among them no less than FKA twigs, Duran Duran and Skrillex. Arca, Flying Lotus, KTL and Die Antwoord are all heading to Barcelona for the festival, taking place from June 18-20, as well, alongside Hot Chip, Jamie xx, Laurent Garnier, Maya Jane Coles and many more.

It marks a return to the event for EDM commander-in-chief Skrillex, following his 2013 set. What was it like? Well, like "a diabolical preacher inviting his congregation to physical communion," wrote tQ's Rory Gibb. "Right on cue, the room goes apeshit, in a way that dwarfs any other crowd response I see throughout the festival." Aiming to incite similar losings-of-shit will be fellow headliners The Chemical Brothers, alongside other previously-announceds Autechre, Lee Gamble, Holly Herndon, Helena Hauff, Daniel Avery and Evian Christ.
