Following his contribution to Black Friday insanity with a riotous snaffling of two pints of Waitrose skimmed milk at 89p and his work as part of cosy, take-'em-home-to-meet-your-mum electronic two-piece Blacknecks, Al Matthews put out a four-tracker, Sun Spool, on New Year's Eve, via Edinburgh imprint TSAR, and is now dealing out another set of deeply satisfying heaviness with his Babolat EP.
